Who develops or maintains the web shop?

Can somebody give me a clearer picture of who develops what and what versions people are up to?

I'm coming across bug after bug and I really am getting tired of spending so much time solving them myself. I've written hack after hack on top of poor xslt and jscript. :/

IS 5.4 eCommerce manual gateway authorization failed.

I keep getting CC# authorization failed message when trying to checkout using manual gateway. I have the gateway set to manual in 800 section. Using ISSIMODELUS default configuration. How do I setup the manual gateway to work in the default configuration?

I am able to authorize the CC# when creating the order using the IS client but not the eCommerce website.

I get the error below back for IS gateway authorization method.

AUTH-XXXXXX - Please complete first the manual process of capturing the payment on the Invoice form>Payment tab.

Coupon discounts shipping

Hello all, created a coupon based on a % on min of x$ amount. It works except that the coupon applies the discount to the shipping.

Is there a fix for this?

Hi All

We have implemented our site and are looking for C# ASP code to add and allocate a receipt to an order.

This is in-lieu of PayPal integration which we have done ourselves.

Any pointers or ideas? I haven't used the SDK yet and all code to date has been DB direct.

Order Complete and Send shipped email to customer

Hello everyone,

I have been able to get the Order Acknowledgment set up so the web store customer is emailed, but after the order has been processed and completed, there is not notification sent to the customer that order has been complete and shipped. also when the customer logs into there account it shows that the order has not been completed.

I have looked in my AppConfig for SendShippedEmailToCustomer but it is not located in the AppConfig file? Does anyone have any suggestion to resolve this so customers are being notified that order has been shipped.

Cancel a Credit Card Authorization

Sometimes an order will come through the web and the credit card is authorized but then the customer sends in a check for payment on the invoice. Is there a way to get rid of, delete, cancel, void the credit card authorization on the document?

I'm wondering if Interprise/ASPDNSF supports the new google analytics ga.js tracking code yet, or at what point it did?

Vortx has a blog entry about this: http://blog.vortx.com/analytics/the-token-analytics-article/

It mentions a token (!GOOGLE_ECOM_TRACKING_V2!).

In any case for now we're sticking with the old urchin.js as it seems to be working.

Categories and Departments sort order?

Search function to return Department not Category

Hello,

Is there an easy method to get the website search feature to return the 'Department' for an item instead of the 'Category'?

We are using the 'Department' (Section) as a Manufacturer listing, with the Department top heading being the manufacturers we represent. Then the sub-departments are split depending on the products available from each manufacturer.

Below is how we would like the search to look.

Eg

Quantity break pricing on the web

My client has a customized ecommerce site. He just started setting up quantity break pricing in the inventory master. The website does not reflect the quantity break pricing at all, not on the inventory detail page nor on the shopping cart. Is that feature supposed to work out of the box?

list of website upgrade issues

I have read that upgrading from SP4.x to SP5.3 will "break" the website. I understand that to mean that if you have a standard ecommerce site and upgrade to 5.3 then something fails to work after the upgrade. Is there a reliable list of the issues that need addressed to accomplish that update without breaking the website? Is is a problem with only checkout, or browsing the items or what? Any details available from anywhere?

As we turn Countries on to the web, we notice that the State field in the address is a drop down field and is trying to pull data from the Postal Code table. Has anyone had experience with adding States for Countries so the State field can work properly?

Shipping date defaulting to purchase date on invoice

When I complained about the shipping date defaulting to the purchase date on invoices (this is for items purchased via e-commerce), I was told by Interprise Suite that this would be fixed in version 5--made configurable. Version 5 arrived and I don't see any setup option to change this--I'm assuming I would be looking for something like "set date at two weeks after purchase date" or something like that or would be allowed to enter some text, like even "TBD".

Do you know if there's a way to control what appears for shipping date on invoice generated by an e-commerce transaction in version 5.X?

We are unable to get multiple items to display on a page. We get one item per page, and navigation links for a boatload of pages. Any suggestions?

Vew ALL orders on web

Currently only orders placed via the web are displayed in the 'Order/Billing history' when viewed by a 'logged in' web customer. With "One Business Logic and One database" being the main motto of Interprise, I am disapointed not to see all customer orders displayed on the web. (i.e. phone orders)

Any ideas how to get this info to show?

Has anybody heard anything about source code for the website under I/S? If a customer bought the source code from ASPDNSF and they upgrade from SP4 to 5.3, what about access to the source code?

Categories with Multiple Websites

Hi

As far as I can see the category structure is not unique per website. Am I missing something - is there a way around this?

If this is the case, it seems strange that say shipping is unique/store settings etc but not something key like the categoty structure.

Customers cannot login to website

As i was testing all my features in preparation to deploy to production I found that i am unable to login to the website. It allows me to register and the customer record is built in the 200 customer / 216 prospect module, yet it will not allow anyone to sign in to the site!! Does anyone have any idea why this would accur? I am thinking it may have something to do with my newly added ssl cert and associated app config parameters. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Error when sending test receipt

I was testing my Order receipt and new order notification functions when i received the following error:

Receipt Email Failed:
·Authentication failed. Check your username and password to make sure that the correct username and password are entered in.

New Order Notification Email Successful

I am confused to how the order notification when thru successfully but the receipt email did not.

Does anyone have clarification on this?

sorting manufacturer list by mfgr description

I was mistaken yesterday when I was asking about sorting the items by manufacter name. Actually what I need is to be able to sort the list of manufacturers, not the products.

How can we go about customizing the software to sort the manufacturers.aspx page by the manufacturer description field?
The associated xmlpackage is the default: entity.manufacturers.xml.config.

The web programmer is telling me there is no obvious way to accomplish that, and sorting by manufacturer code is not producing the desired result for this customer. Any suggestions for either configuration or code changes?

Customer Login - strange address screen

After setting up a customer in the back office.
If that customer logs in to the web store for the fist time he is confronted by an address input form. There is no getting past it. he is given no explanation whatsoever as to what/why.

At this point my customer will think we are unprofessional and go to a competitors web store that works sensibly.

Looks like a unfinished bit of the web store trying to find a credit card billing address for my customer.

How can Interprise expect this to be acceptable?

How to Embed a Topic within another Topic

In eCommerce, you can embed a topic in another topic or even in text such as the item description by including a tag like this:

During the rendering of the form on the web, the contents of TestTopic1 will be rendered instead of the above tag. Note that even inside of TestTopic1, another topic can be embedded and it too will be rendered appropriately.

We are getting pretty close to getting our site wrapped up and we came across this in the New Customer Registration it asks:

" *OK To EMail: Yes / No (Can we contact you with product updates/information, etc.) "

My question is, what is this used for, and where is this data stored within the back-end?

The Manual States if checked:
Yes – Customer will receive product updates/information through email
No - Customer will not receive product updates/information through email

Sort order of items and multiple categories

My problem is thusly:

We have products that are in multiple categories. Using the sort order of items in those respective categories does not seem to be working. Anyone else experience this? "Normal" categories where the item only belongs to one category are working fine.
