On a workstation reboot and check the performance - is the workstation fast to start with?

On the workstation use MSSQL Ent Manager to run a few of the IS Views - to confirm performance of the MSSQL DB (very unlikely this is the issue)

Are you able to roll back to an earlier release of IS - or at least install an earlier release on one of the workstations to test against the existing server.

p.s. leave Task Manager/Performance monitor running on a workstation you know is problem. Keep an eye on the IS application/task - whats the CPU and memory getting up to before the crash or go slow.

We have just come to realise that entering data remotely, is not only faster but also almost crash free!
One of the Directors entered approx. 30 jobs remotely , reported that it not only was very responsive, but had no crashes at all!
